Rabbi Student, What Was Your Initial Experience With Strauss?
Struuss is so fascinating because he had many great insights in his career in completely different realms. My first encounter with strauss was really when it came to mymonodean interpretation of spinoza. And i took a look at it and said, you know what, this is the kind of thing i've been talking about and thinking about for a while outside of strauss. Let's bring it to straus. Bring it to Spinoza. So that's how we got here. We reach out to all different kinds of thinkers, men and women. But there are our own nuances. It's a little bit different than than with a christian thinking. Very similar.
