The final plane to be highjacked was united airlines flight 93. By this point, federal aviation administration and airline officials were alert to the fact multiple high jackings were in progress that had been hinted at on the first plane when mohammed ata accidentally broadcast that, we have some planes. But nobody had attempted multiple highjackings anywhere in the world in over 30 years. And it had never happened before in america. So nobody was expecting it, and cials were slow to react but by this point, they had figured it out.
