The Myth of the Revenge Feast
Wayland plots his revenge. He fashions chalices out of the boy's skulls and gifts them to King Nithad. In one version of the story, Beidahild chooses to leave her father to be with Wayland. So that's the story as we understand it in its fullest forms,. But those versions are from the 13th century. This is where the stories are staying the same even though the message was changing.
