i'm really surprised by the sincerity yeah uh in a way that would have um would have felt cheesy to somebody 10 years ago. Now there's a genuine sincerity of saying can you teach me how to pray or can we talk about how to how to read the bible. That just would not have happened 10 years ago to that level. i love that analogy that that understanding it seems like it's drawing some things we were talking about it it will probably happen because previously disconnected people and streams find each other in this sort of recombination. Because things have been disrupted so that's like there's cross-pollination that happens.
Our good friend and partner in The After Party project, Russell Moore, joins us to talk about his new book, “Losing Our Religion: An Altar Call for Evangelical America.” Curtis and Russell talk about why “mapping” our loss is critical for those who currently feel culturally, politically, or spiritually homeless. We explore two kinds of maps - the “treasure map” and the “minefield map” - and why Christians need both.
