The Covenant of Water, which is the title. I'm sure you've had wonderful conversation with all your many guests about the nature of titles. But in my own mind, I think titles need to be slightly mysterious. And hopefully they resonate for readers in completely different ways. Whatever explanation I give for the title is not the explanation. It's whatever the reader thinks.
