In europe, 88 % of all employment is still with firms of a size of 250 employees or less. Nick bloom who's a professor here at stamford has argued that the growth of very big, successful firms has helped to exasperate inequality. There are some arguments right now about whether concentration of ownership, in a slightly different sense, has been affecting wages negatively.
