How Much a Doctor Remembers of Their Education
James: Can you give us your intuition on how much a doctor remembers of their education let's say ten years into their career? James: I imagine a doctor forgets just unbelievable amounts of information because they're not actively reviewing that and so it's just gone. People usually remember through association right like if you can't associate an idea to something it's very hard to remember the same sequence for 20 years. He says doctors do not have enough time to form long-lasting memories as there is too much material in medicine at any one time. The pyramid will crumble down soon, he adds.
