In the 19 fifties, i guess, there was some early kind of o c r, optical character recognition approaches. Am that er made use of early nol nets, and, strangely, a in that's still how optical character recognition is done. But at the beginning, it was just to a recognized one of ten digits type thing, um and done. And then by the 19 eighties, it got to be used those methods to recognize all the letters of the english alphabet, or something like this.
