What's the Difference Between CompSci and Rails?

In uni, we actually worked on a bunch of side projects. We're just sort of building a side-product to the front, basically. And so that's when I started learning Rails. It was shocking how long I took and how sort of tiring it was to build this internal tools. Like, hey, maybe there could be a much faster way of building all these crud apps.
