Gilderay's Long Term Goals
In 1436, Gilderay kidnapped his old tutor Michel de Fontenet for publishing a royal edict against him. The local peasantry began whispering about the terrible crimes that have been committed on Gileeray's many estates. It is very difficult to move against a landed noble because you need a bunch of reasons. They can want his lands and he can't be a child murderer. At the same time, one of you. That's what this is all about. I think it's a political satire.
