What Is a Vocation?
In Matthew 9, Jesus calls a man named matthew to follow him. The word vocation is later translated by western scholars with this word vocation. At one level, our calling is just to follow jesus but that implies there is a journey of some kind we are to go on. As soon as you set off on the inner journey, the first wall that you hit is sin.
