Getting to Know the Bible Over Time

Many christian people have such massive expectations for themselves, or what's going to happen when they kind of begin a process of studying the bible. Give yourself a break. Get to know this overtime. See getting to know the bible better as sort of like a to year project, or a forty year project. One of the most important starting points for me in thinking about engaging with scripture, or thinking with the bible, is the necessity of critical thinking.
