The Sound of Music Can Enhance One Taste or Another

So if you think about dining in the air and that kind of level of background noise really suppresses our ability to taste sweetness. Soundscapes can bring out enhance one taste or another. We've done work together with the Fat Duck Research Kitchen in Beret - a Michelin starred restaurant run by a Heston Blumentau. Together with the research kitchen there we've been giving people cinder toffee something that has bitterness and sweetness in it but if we then play some tinkling high-pitched piano or wind chime music in the background that seems to accent
