I'm Torn Between the Two Sides

I don't like the idea that because someone is born into a certain family and their father or mother or some other relation ruled, they should rule. There's bound to be problems. I trust her. She's reliable. She seems sincere. But you know, some of her ancestors were rubbish. They were not good at all. What do you think? And i'm torn. On one hand, sentimentally, i agree with you. Practically, i don't see that the royal family, just because they were born into a family, should become kings and queens. It doesn't make sense to me. If i use the expression to be torn t o r n, i'm
