The Taste Consciousness of the Tasting Organ
The buddha described both with taste consciousness in all the other senses. What are the conditions necessary for taste consciousness to arise? It's pretty simple, and when we hear it, it seems somewhat obvious. For there to be taste consciousness, we need the working organ of the tongue,. There needs to be saliva, some moisture, and there needs to be attention. If these four conditions are there, taste consciousness will arise. Take any one of these causes away, take any one ofThese conditions away, and there's no longer any knowing of taste.
