"i love a good, like, period romantic drama that's also thematically rich and really interesting," says Janice Fipes. "Power the dog was, i thought, a really nice balance of those things where i wanted to just sit in these scenes with johnny greenwood's score", she adds. The cast includes Bennedic cumberbatch, who plays both a tough guy and an american; Cody smit mac fie is someone you've seen in things like plane, the apes and exman. Jodie Whittaker has been nominated for three Oscars: best actress, best supporting actor and best director.
