Apple's new podcast apps, Logic Pro and Fairride, don't support some features of the Mac version. The programs are not designed to be used as audio editors for podcasters. Apple could have made a big selling point by making it round-trippable or something like that. It seems kind of weird that Apple doesn't even consider that case important enough to support.
