China Rebuffs US Request for Meeting for Security Forum in Singapore

China has rebuffed a US request for meeting for a meeting between their defense chiefs on the sidelines of an annual security forum in Singapore. The meeting would have been between Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin and Lee Sean Fue. China's dismissal of the proposal was also termed an unusually blunt message.
