Is There a Difference Between DSA and Schnorr Signatures?

Batch validation is when you have like triplets of message, public key signature. You only care whether all of them are valid or whether at least one is invalid. And this is a property that digital signature schemes have been studied before. It's such an amazingly good match for block validation in Bitcoin because we really have this hundreds and thousands of signatures.
