One out of every three Psalms are lament oriented. Lamente helps to bring a little balance that many of us who love the scriptures who believe in God's sovereignty may not know how to deal with. Repentance lament is a really unique application and so does justice seeking, I think the more you understand it, the more you realize this can be spiritually helpful for all kinds of life seasons.
