There's this hormone hypothesis regarding testosterone that increases in testosterone, drives hypertrophy and strength in a dose-dependent fashion. In other words, is having a higher testosterone level while not hypogonatal or taking exogenous testosterone to have super physiological levels, is that better? Let's look at this. We're going to start with lean body mass. This first study, they took 821 men. Their basal testosterone levels were positively correlated withLean Body Mass. And it was inversely correlated with adipose tissue. That means the higher the testosterone level, the lower level of body fat. But in longitudinal studies, by the same research group, there was no influence of baseline testosterone levels
