What's the Difference Between Travel Riding and Nature Riding?

macfarland's book is more nature, nature writing. He says he wants to help people make the journeys in a way that is useful. But i think those would be like more serviceor antit type of travel travel blooks. What do you think of some of the common weaknesses that will bring a book down? Any thoughts on fixing those?
