Do Floor-Based Stability Exercises Really Work?

I think there's so much more to explore here with these discussions around the specificity of exercises and getting the nervous system to integrate. I would say yes you know using thoughts and using isolation type movements are more likely to make a muscle work differently. You may ask it to do or you may see it improve its force output and its capacity but that doesn't mean it's the only time it will do that as well. So I do think again it's it's these common assumptions that certain type of exercises outperform other ones because of specificity and connection that I just very much disagree with.
