The Florida Lottery Jackpot Goes Unclaimed
Winning numbers of Florida Lottery were announced on October 25, 2006. The $3 million jackpot went unclaimed - the odds of picking six lucky numbers from a possible 69 was one in over $292 million. Over the following two weeks, the jackpot rolled over three more times. By Wednesday, November 15, 2006, it had reached $30 million.
