Oral Cancer - What General Dennis Should Be Looking For?
As General Dennis we're responsible for performing a comprehensive evaluation of areas of pathology in our patients. Even these sort of thin white patches that don't really look like much those all must be biopsied to rule out dysplasia and that's how we're going to catch these cancers. The other thing is lots of gingival cancers masquerade as other lesions. They can look like vascular lesions, periodontal disease, bumps on the gum so I would urge you to if you see something weird on the gingiva treat it like you've diagnosed it.
