i would love to tell you that i saw this coming, that id wandered into the newscar studio with plenty of time. The truth is, we were expecting to have conversations with david boys in march - after he had been the lawyer yet. We understood was going to be holed up with prince andrew for two days solid trying to sort this out. Why has it happened so quickly? Who's paid that money? How much was it? A barrister friend of mine said he could not see a way in which, if this went to a jury trial in new york, the settlement would be less than a hundred million dollars.
