One Health in Pandemics?
One health means spillover from the animal or plant sector. For me, one health means you could have spillover but it is the impact of what happens in one sector that impacts on anothersector. It's very difficult to try and get over that it's not just spillover of a new species, it's spillovers and handover of resistance from known species. And I think we need to encourage people to understand we've got to join it all up at the top, all the data and keep an eye on it. But they need to do their own jobs well and feel comfortable doing that and not worry about the one health bit.
