Introduction

This is a reading of a cycle of lectures by rudolf steiner entitled a modern art of education. We have seen how the greeks educated the whole human being, beginning with the body. As such, we must win spirit as our human essence through human effort and write. When we develop the desire to educate according to the needs of our time, we experience how little progress our civilization has made in becoming imbued with spirit.
