How to Pray Effectively
Pray in the dark to remove all sensory distractions from him so that he could truly hear from God. Give Him your full engagement and let Him do what He does best. Don't use meaningless repetition as the Gentiles do, for they suppose they'll be heard by their many words. If you pray to God in your heart, He will hear you. You do not have to open your mouth to have God hear you. Psalm 27, 14, Psalm 41, Psalm 135, Isaiah 30, 18 are situations where God hears our heart.
