Yomi Park was born in North Korea and escaped to China with her mother at the age of 13. After two years of slavery, they were rescued by Christian missionaries from South Korea. Yomi came to America about eight years ago to study at Columbia University. Now she is fighting for human rights on behalf of 300,000 North Korean modern slaves in China.
