I think there's a view that within the BBC that if you play nicely, you will get the Daily Mail or the Sun on board. They've got a vested interest in a commercial... A literal commercial vested interest. I think that's from my own personal experience. When I took over the Sun, I wrote a leader in the first few weeks that basically said why the BBC should be closed down. And I did it because I wanted to carry favour with Rupert. He's why I did it, if I'm not really honest. But what happened with me was that every BBC person I met, when I was editing, whether they would be a journalist or a director general or whatever,
