CNN's John D. Sutter asks Stuart Marshall about his ability to be at a place 40 years too early with one idea and then in some cases just the right amount of early to cause something to happen. "When you invent, it's not competition yet," Marshall says as he explains why starting things is so important for him. He was never Dean's List or on any kind of college dean's list but did learn that being late can make people less sharp than they really are. The great thing about hippies is even the ones who didn't have to pretended to be poor, I was sort of one of those.
