Bison were hunted for 11, 12, 13 thousand years in mass kills. There's no way that's a mega fauna, but it went extinct, right? How do you explain that? They hunted every last one of em. And we've got 38 genera for which we have virtually no evidence of human hunting,. and sedacea snakes that vanished. The overkiel hypothesis came out really in a big way in the 19 sixties when everybody was all about earth day.
