The Relationship Between Synagogue and Church

In some of the sites, there are inscriptions that actually itemize the the jews in the synagogue. And then you can see that sometimes the christianization of minoras has got a cross superimposed on them. It would be nice to think this was an early jewish christian thing, but it's probably a later appropriation of the minora into kind ofchristian iconography. That would be my guess. Ye, just wonded a few observed anny that kind of thing, or have thoughts on that that is true? The departing of the ways was much more drawn out, and t was very uneven over the centuries.
