Introduction
There's a rule or convention that's come to be adopted, particularly in contemporary American political commentary. It says we should resist the temptation to try and diagnose the psychological condition of politicians. In 2006, an article by two psychologists, Lucas and Sheeran, made the case that it seems very likely that Jeremy Bentham did indeed have Asperger's syndrome.
