What's the Difference Between Copyright and Music Rights?
Tina turner has signed a deal with b m g to release some of her music. She will continue to be under the control of warner music, but she'll also have royalty rights over those recordings. This is specifically a round tina turner's share on the recordings and her share on the songs. A lot of what we sometimes call heritage artists have been doing deals. And i thik there's various reasons for that - piracy, shift tor digital are among them.
