Identifying Asthma in a One and a Half Year Old Child

There's more reason than just making the child feel better to identify asthma early and treat it. Only about a half of these children do respond to in-health corticosteroids so it's not a panacea for everybody. It is wonderful to hear that we can actually occasionally diagnose asthma in a one and a half year old. That's fantastic. And if the family is as glad then that's exactly what we tell them. Fair enough.
