The Pastoral's Being Nested

Todd: I do think the pastoral's, you know, and there's a funny dynamic in scholarship because there's such a consensus around the pastoral's as as Deutero Pauline that does a disservice to them. Dylan: You don't want to adopt that same kind of scholarly neglect for this part of this part of scripture. Todd: The PhD did equip me. It allowed me to carve out the time, the space to do some serious study, deep thought work which I think carries over into a lot of what we do in preaching weekly or teaching weekly. And then it helps me become a more careful thinker.
