The Politics of Anger and Confrontation
For a sizable minority of people across the West, not just in Britain, that this actually is better politics where they get to shout. How do you deal with that? I have a problem when that becomes the dominant force that is driving the politicians in power to make very bad decisions. You always should have people who want to go out and, you know, sound scream. My point is there's always been a place for that. And it has it can have its influence in the debate. But when you're electing your representatives to take decisions on the behalf of the whole country, that should not be the kind of politics that's driving them day in day out.
