The Rise of a Therapeutic Culture
I was reading a rereading Christopher Lache revolt of the elites, which was written in the mid 90s. And what was really strange about it was just that it could have been written today. This is clearly something that has been developing over the last kind of 30 or 40 years. I do think personally that it is related to the rise of a kind of therapeutic culture, which no longer sees individuals. So within that context, you know, freedom of speech is it takes a backseat to the protection of vulnerable minorities.
