The Case of a Pseudo-Patient
The 12 hospitals in the sample were located in five different states on the east and west coasts. All but one of the pseudo-patients were diagnosed as schizophrenia. The other was diagnosed as manic depressive or having what today is called bipolar disorder. Rosenhahn: "No further alterations of person, history, or circumstances were made"
