In an atmosphere f fear, where people don't feel safe, you have to be feel safe enough to show vulnerability. You become more willing to be vulnerable at a moment when you recognize that what you have done has not gotten you where you want to be. Some people on both sides of the abortion equation, more often than not, people with either religious background or in the religious community, have decided that they are willing to be unpopular with their own community.
