The Kurdish Uprising in Iran
In northwestern iran, there were confrontations between kurdish fighters known as the peshmega and the iranian army. Hundreds from both sides were killed in the fighting. Itola comeni issued a fatwor calling for the destruction of kurdish rebels. The curdish population didn't believe it would be safe to stay. Most fled their town, camil and his family among them.
