The Timing Wasn't Right

It is okay to not have great timing because we have bad timing all over like all the time in our lives. It just means like everything the timing was not right. Just because you could not enact change in that time or you are not able to do that does not reflect on you and your skills as a researcher. But what I would encourage you to do is say hey this is something that I'd love to work up to but in order to continue learning I need to do this in an environment that's better for me. Right, because there's no point and just continuously hitting your head against the wall. So I always give it that six month point of really getting it my all.
