The Evolution of Near-Death Experiences

I think it's like walking around in the world and noticing that a number of trees have the same sort of leaves. And then at some point you say, oh, we're going to call them elm trees. And now we have a species and we can study the species, right? That's what I'm doing with near-death experiences. I'm taking human testimony and I'm putting it into piles. There are also reports that don't go into any pile. You know, that's just eccentric, odd, weird. But there's a thing here and it's real and we can talk about it. We can debate whether oxygen deprivation is what’s causing it.
