Horticulture is an obsession for everyone who does it, and you kind of have to be because the returns really are not great. We don't quite know why it seems to work very well in some places and less well in other places. And it could be that we just don't know enough about what's going on under under the soil. So one of the things i call for in the book is an earth rover program.
