The U2 Flights and the Luna Missiles

The U2 flights revealed that the Soviet Union had sent 100 nuclear bombs to Cuba. Khrushchev agreed to pull those and Castro also agreed, but there was something else they knew too. The Luna missiles were considered a tactical rather than strategic system. They could have been used to strike a US invasion force heading to Cuba.
