Myths Are Deeply Powerful

I would define myths as a form of storytelling. I think they're really powerful because they tell us three or four things, right? They tell us who we are by telling us where we came from. So it gives us a sense of belonging and identity, but it also motivates behavior. And when they're confused as being facts, that's when it gets very problematic. But it seems to me that myth-making is a universal phenomenon.
