Writing a Book Is a Work in Progress

Most of writing is work. At first you're thinking, I'm going to really get myself into the shape I want to. And then there will be bits that aren't as easy as you thought they were going to be. That's when it's sort of like work. So what I do is I have various ways to remind myself of the original burst of inspiration. Also, I build soundtracks that give me just feelings that I want to put into the book.
