Otters are easy pickings for a hungry wolf who dispatches them with a crushing bite to the back of the skull. Researchers found 26 sea otter carcasses that were freshly killed by wolves. This helped them identify nearly 30 different species, including toads, halibut, snowy owls, and even sperm whales.
